Paul Markow is a widely acclaimed photographer, specializing in advertising for companies such as Amazon and Federal Express, as well as portraits for corporate leaders. He will present "Personal Memories, Past and Present." As Paul says, "I have photographed everyone from porn stars to billionaires." His stories of his interactions with the famous and infamous are fascinating.
Paul is the propietor of Paul Markow Photography on McDowell Road--from there he departs for shoots around the world. Most recently he worked for Amazon in London and for IDT in Belgium. Wherever he goes, he takes his ability to make a subject comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera.
Paul is the son of Robert Markow, legendary photographer of mid-century Phoenix. A book of Robert's photos was just published by Arizona Highways and is available in the Arizona Heritage Center gift shop.
February 5th is designated Guest Day. Members are encouraged to bring a friend to enjoy our acclaimed photographer and lunch.
Lunch may be purchased online or reserve your place with Susan Howard and pay by cash or check by Thursday, February 1, 2024. Members with reservations are responsible for payment even if unable to attend.
