General Membership Meeting Speaker: Lisa Schnebly Heidinger

Date: 4/2/2018

Time: 10:00 AM - 1:30 PM

Please reply to Mary Garbaciak, with your lunch reservation!  Reservations are needed by March 28, 2018, so we can give the exact number of meals to our Chef.  To help balance our accounting, there will be a volunteer to take $15 by check or to make cash at the meeting.  We will be ordering only enough meals to equal the number of reservations taken.  Any people who have not made reservations are asked to wait until all of the people with reservations have gone through the food line.

Great-granddaughter of Sedona Schnebly, Lisa Schnebly Heidinger, has written nine other books about various aspects of Arizona before this tour de force journal: a culmination of decades conducting interviews and exploring archives. Voted OneBookAZ author for her Arizona Centennial book, she shares Sedona and T.C. Schnebly’s deep love of Arizona and of travel. A former television and newspaper reporter, then editorial columnist, she loves drinking at historic hotels, doing anything outside, and coffee; she vowed she’s never had an undrinkable cup, although the one made in the morning and purchased at 4 p.m. from Grey Hills Trading Post came closest. Lisa will be the League’s speaker in April, talking about her new book, The Journal of Sedona Schnebly.
