What people are saying about our cookbook:

I am a 4th generation Arizonan and my husband is a native. We went to U of A and our son was married at Arizona Inn. I received the book as a gift Saturday night and couldn't put it down. I read it cover to cover on Sunday. It truly is a treasure. I am so excited to give this book as a gift so I am ordering ten books. Thank you so much for producing such a quality book that helped to preserve Arizona history. Brenna B.

Not only do I love to cook but I was raised in the valley since grade school (50 YEARS AGO) and love the history that comes with the book. I saw a segment about your cookbook on Channel 3 News....Everyday Entertaining. Kathleen G.

I received a copy for a Christmas gift last year. I thought it was so wonderful I ordered some for my family and friends ... but, now I am all out and others have asked me about the book, so I decided to order some more to give as gifts. It is really fun, and especially for us old time Arizonians who remember all the old restaurants, and continue to patronize those still existing. What a wonderful book. One friend that I gave a copy to looked inside and started to cry ... she was so overwhelmed. Anita B.

I belong to a supper club and the host couple used all receipes from your book. They were easy and fabulous - so we had to have the book too! Thanks, Lyn C.

I received my cook books today and am impressed and thrilled with the work that was done. Marshall Trimble's forward is wonderful! Needless to say, I poured over your book with great interest and have begun to make a list of recipes to try in my own kitchen. I have, in fact, been to all of the places with the exception of Rancho de La Osa which I immediately Googled and am making plans to visit. Cobe F.

Just a line to let you know I received the cookbook today (Thursday Nov. 30) It will be a gift for a family member but that didn't keep me from reading it cover to cover the minute I received it. What a marvelous collection. I can't wait to make Margarita Pie. The League has really done itself proud. I'm sure I will order another book soon. Joanne S.

Thank you. I received the cook book this date. It will be a Christmas present to my sister, but of course, I had to look through it. I am pleased. My grandparents came here in the 1870's. I am a 3rd generation.. I mean grandparents, father, me... native. I grew up in Phoenix, walked to school, road the streetcar, played catch in the street, and NO air-conditioning! Jo F.

I made the Mojitos on page 26. Awesome! And, I made the Salmon Tostadas and ALL the related fixings that go with it (everything on pages 32 and 33). Out-of-this-world! Absolutely outstanding. What a winner this cookbook is. I can’t wait to try other recipes. G.P.
