Circumstances created by the pandemic restrictions caused the Annual Meeting and Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon planned for May 13 to be cancelled. To meet the challenge of the extenuating circumstances, the League Board of Directors decided to include the critical actions of the Annual Meeting in Monday’s general membership meeting.
The critical actions required in the bylaws to be taken at the Annual Meeting are: The approval of grants to the Arizona Historical Society, and the election of the Board of Directors for fiscal year 2020 – 2021.
The appreciation and awards ceremony for our faithful and hardworking members that usually takes place together with the Annual Meeting has been postponed until the fall.
