The Arizona Republic has noted that Carl Hayden (1877-1972) was one of the most influential Arizonans. He was responsible for moving Arizona from a dusty frontier state to a state ready for growth and full of potential. Carl Hayden is no longer with us but we can learn about Arizona’s colorful history through an entertaining and educational Chautauqua (Living History) presentation by Larry Edmonds using many of Carl Hayden’s words.
Larry Edmonds’ Carl Hayden research, writing, and development of the presentation were supported by a grant from the Arizona Humanities Council. This program was made possible by a grant from the Arizona Humanities Council. A Carl Hayden presentation will be an excellent way to celebrate the Arizona Centennial.
